How can i rank up faster in halo 3 lone wolves?

Well you have to just keep playing Lone Wolves and you will rank up in no time.
It takes two straight games where you get 1st place to rank up.
(so if you win 2 straight games where you get 1st place, you will go from 43 to 44.)
If you get 2nd place, it will keep your rank the same and you will just get an experience point.
If you 3rd place, you will get an experience point and it will take you down half a rank.
(so if you lose two straight games where you are in 3rd place, you will rank down from 43 to 42.
If you get 4th place or lower, you lose a rank and get no experience points.
